Mold Inspections
If you have mold or think you have mold we are the first step you should take, which is to collect samples and have the lab analyze them. Cunningham Services performs two levels of mold inspections in Las Cruces and Dona Ana County:
Limited Sampling: The purpose of Limited Sampling is to detect the presence of mold contamination in client defined areas of the home. This service provides a fast economical method to determine if and what types of mold are in that defined area. The limitation of this service is that other sources of mold may be present in the home.
Mold Screen: This level of inspection utilizes a visual assessment of the entire home, identifies “red flags” for mold, and a limited sampling for mold. If ‘red flags’ are found you will be advised and offered the chance for additional sampling. The Mold Screen is the most popular inspection service for home sale transactions.
Our mold service is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Environmental Solutions Association (ESA). As an ESA Certified Mold Inspector we are equipped to take air samples (both indoor and outdoor), swabs of visible mold, carpet, and wall cavity sampling. Once on site we can also advise as to which type of sampling is best suited for the home in question
After Cunningham Services performs the inspection we ship all samples to Pro-Labs for analysis. Pro-Labs offers extensive customer support based on the results and can provide direction for the next step towards remediation if deemed necessary.
